Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • ½ tsp salt more to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 beer your favorite
  • 8 oz mild cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Melt butter, add minced garlic, and saute over medium heat until the garlic is golden.
  • Add flour and cook for 1-3 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Whisk beer into flour mixture and cook over medium high heat until the mixture thickens to a gravy consistency.
  • Add parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the shredded cheese and whisk until the cheese is completely melted.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
