Alfredo Sauce

This Alfredo Sauce is honestly the best I've ever had! I will never be able to order Alfredo at a restaurant ever again because it simply wouldn't be able to compare to this Alfredo Sauce!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan, brown the garlic in the butter.
  • Add in flour and whisk constantly for 2-3 minutes to cook the flour.
  • Add the cream and salt and stir constantly until it has warmed through and starting to thicken.
  • Stirring constantly, slowly add the Parmesan cheese, one handful at a time. Make sure each handful is completely melted into the cream before adding the next. Continue stirring constantly until all the cheese has been melted in.
  • Serve hot and enjoy! We like ours served over a bed of noodles with grilled chicken and sautéed onions and mushrooms!
