I’m from the south, so ranch dressing is basically running through my veins. Honestly? I dip my pizza in ranch before taking a bite anyway – doesn’t matter what kind of pizza it is. So, why not have ranch as the base of the pizza to begin with?? I’m totally on board.
To start, obviously we need pizza dough. I always use my Perfect Pizza Dough recipe, which makes 2 pizzas worth of dough. Win. Roll out the pizza dough and place on a floured pizza pan. Now, you can get all your toppings together.
Saute some diced chicken in a dash of oil, salt, and pepper. Chop up bacon and cook it as well. While those are cooking, slice up a red onion if you’d like to add that as well. Once the meats are cooked, you are ready to assemble the pizza!
Start by spreading a liberal amount of ranch dressing around. Then, add the diced chicken. Follow with however much shredded mozzarella your heart desires – mine typically desires LOTS. Last, sprinkle the crispy bacon pieces (and the optional red onion slices) all over.
Bake in a preheated oven at 450 for 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is all melty and mouth watering. For an even better flavor, you can cook this in a smoker like this one instead at 450 for 10-15 minutes! Enjoy with more ranch dressing on the side for dipping if you’d like! 😉

Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough crust
- 1 cup diced chicken
- ½ lb bacon cooked and crumbled
- ranch dressing use your favorite!
- Mozzarella cheese shredded
- ½ red onion, sliced optional
Instructions
- You will need pizza dough spread out on a floured pizza cooking tray. Try my recipe for Perfect Pizza Dough which makes 2 pizzas worth of dough.
- Cook the diced chicken in a greased skillet with a dash of salt and pepper.
- Cook the bacon to crispy perfection and crumble on a plate or bowl.
Assembly:
- Once the dough is spread out over the floured pizza tray, spread the ranch dressing all over, leaving a small rim of dough untouched for the crust.
- Next, spread out the cooked, diced chicken.
- Then, add as much cheese over the top as you desire.
- Last, sprinkle the bacon crumbles all over. It's ready to bake!
To Cook:
- Option 1: My favorite option. Prep/turn on a smoker to 450° and cook the pizza for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melty and starting to brown, and the crust is crisp and golden.
- Option 2: Preheat an oven to 450° and cook the pizza for 10-15 minutes until cooked as specified in option 1 above. (My oven's sweet spot seems to be around 12 minutes)
