Fries? On a pizza? Yes! I never tire of a good burger. My husband, on the other hand, does tire of them eventually. So, why not mix it up and make a pizza out of it instead? Behold the bacon cheeseburger pizza.
Start with the dough. Try my Perfect Pizza Dough, which makes two pizzas worth of dough. Roll it out and put it on a well-floured pizza pan. Now, it’s time to prep the toppings.
Cook the fries per the package instructions, and then start on the hamburger. Throw the ground beef, Montreal steak seasoning, and chopped onions in a skillet and brown the meat. In a separate skillet, cook the bacon to perfect crispy perfection. Once the meats are cooked, drain the grease. (Save the bacon grease for future cooking if you like!)
If you are going to make your own Beer Cheese, make it now, otherwise, you are ready to assemble once the fries and meat are cooked!
Start assembling by spreading beer cheese all over the rolled out crust. Then, top with plenty of shredded colby jack, ground beef mixture, and crumbled bacon. Top all of that with the cooked fries. Toss it all into a preheated oven or smoker at 450 and bake for 10-15 minutes. The crust should be golden brown and the fries nice and crisp on top!
If you want extra cheese on top of it all, feel free, but do know that it will prevent your fries from being crispy on top.
If you like extras like pickles, shredded lettuce, mustard, tomatoes, etc, add them once the pizza is cooked. Slice and enjoy!

- Option 2: Bake in a preheated oven at 450° for 10-15 minutes until cooked to the specifications in option 1. (my oven's sweet spot seems to be around 12 minutes).
